How To Pack It Up
Most of us will rent an inflatable castle rather than spending hundreds of dollars to buy one. It would be great to own them – but they are often too large and require so much upkeep for us to even think about. Some companies will require that you install and pack these up when you are finished with them.
When packing this up imagine that you are putting your air mattress away – except that this is four times bigger. You have to let all of the air out and manage to tie it so that it can fit inside of the bag it came in. This sounds a whole lot easier than it really is!
Once all the kids are out of it you need to go inside and remove any toys, shoes, leaves, and dirt that the kids might have dragged inside. Use a soft bristle broom to sweep out the dirt and leaves.
Now that you have cleared everything out you need to disconnect the blower and take the fan from the tube it runs to. This tube should be open completely in order to let all of the air out. While it is doing this you can remove the stakes and ropes that are holding it firmly into the ground.
Place yourself in front of the opening and have someone help you fold down the columns, the sides, and the tubes. Push them down into the base area. It is easier to start by folding down the right side down into the center of the base area. When you have done that do the same to the left side. By the end of it both sides should be touching each other.
Now all that is left to do is to fold the left side over the right. The front will be folded 1/3 of the distance towards the back. While you do this make sure to release any additional air left inside. Roll it to the back and connect the straps to hold everything in place. If it came with a bag than try to fit it inside.
